THIS AND [INSERT WHATEVER YOU NEED]. ❤️ If there THIS AND [INSERT WHATEVER YOU NEED]. ❤️If there one thing I can say about my sail with @joyridecharters it’s that it was SUCH a restorative trip. DROPPIN’ ANCHOR IN PORTOCOLOM! ⚓️ The chillest li DROPPIN’ ANCHOR IN PORTOCOLOM! ⚓️The chillest little fishing village on Mallorca that somehow HASN’T been totally taken over by influencers (yet). Think colorful boathouses, sleepy cafés, crystal coves, and a harbor so calm it’s basically a natural infinity pool. Not mad at it. Not even one little bit. 🎣This east coast gem is Mallorca’s biggest natural port, but you won’t find party chaos here — just locals, sangria, and that slow island magic. We pulled in for the vibes and strongly considered “accidentally” missing the next leg of the sail. 🤷🏻‍♀️👉 5/5 stars. Would recommend. Portocolom’s like Mallorca’s quiet cool cousin who surfs and makes fresh paella. THANK YOU for an incredible stop @joyridecharters!

10 Weird Facts About Palma de Mallorca You Won’t B 10 Weird Facts About Palma de Mallorca You Won’t Believe 🌴First stop on my sail with @joyridecharters? Palma. 🙌This Mediterranean gem is bonkers in the best way. Here are 10 bizarre facts that’ll make you scratch your head: 👀1️⃣ The Haunted Castle 👻 — Bellver Castle isn’t just round (rare in Europe!) — it’s allegedly haunted by a witch who never checked out. 🪄2️⃣ The Dragon of Palma 🐉 — Locals swear a crocodile-turned-dragon once terrorized the city until a knight slayed it. His “dragon” was actually taxidermied and displayed for centuries!3️⃣ The Cathedral’s Light Trick ☀️ — Twice a year, La Seu Cathedral turns into an optical illusion — sunlight creates a glowing “figure 8.” The universe showing off, basically.4️⃣ There’s a Lake Under the Cathedral 🫧 — Beneath La Seu lies a secret freshwater cistern. Palma’s got layers like an onion (or a very holy lasagna).5️⃣ Royal Bathtub by the Sea 🛁👑 — Kings and queens once soaked in a carved stone tub overlooking the Med. Talk about royal spa goals.6️⃣ Fake Palm Trees 🌴 — In the 1980s, officials swapped some real palms for plastic ones. They melted in the summer sun. Major island fail.7️⃣ Octopus Oracle 🐙 — A local octopus once predicted football matches. Move over, Paul the Psychic — Palma had its own tentacled guru.8️⃣ The Secret Tunnels 🚇 — Beneath Palma’s old town are rumored escape tunnels from pirate attacks. The island’s first “underground scene.”9️⃣ A Church That Faces the Wrong Way ⛪️ — Santa Eulàlia Church faces south instead of east — possibly to avoid blinding sunrise glare. Practical or rebellious? You decide.🔟 The Island’s Salty Wind 🌬️ — Locals call it embat, a daily sea breeze said to drive people a little crazy by August. If you start laughing at seagulls… blame the wind.✨ Palma’s not just beautiful — it’s beautifully weird.Tag your travel buddy who’d explore the spooky, salty, and slightly silly side of Mallorca! 💃#PalmaDeMallorca #MallorcaTravel #WeirdTravelFacts #VisitMallorca #HiddenMallorca #SpainTravel #MediterraneanVibes #TravelFun #MallorcaSecrets #EuropeDestinations #TravelInspo

SOUTHERN MOST POINT IN SOUTH AMERICA! ✅ What can SOUTHERN MOST POINT IN SOUTH AMERICA! ✅What can be said about Ushuaia, really? It’s where all the cruise ships take off for Antarctica. And it’s a long haul to get down there. But the flight over Tierra del Fuego was pretty impressive. (Adding to my list for a deeper dive.) 🏔️I thought Ushuaia was going to be a more authentic sleepy port town, but no. It actually has a Hard Rock Cafe and was filled with ski bums prepping for the season. So I did the thing and took the pic (where I look like a drowned rat) and… peaced out. ✌️All of this said, I’ll never forget cruising back into a super calm harbor to a[n almost double] rainbow after a pretty harrowing three days crossing the Drake Passage in a storm. 🌈👉 WHAT WOULD YOU ENDURE TO VISIT THE MOST REMOTE DESTINATION IN THE WORLD?#antarctica #antarctic #ushuaia #ushuaiafindelmundo❄️ #argentina Antarctica Ushuaia Argentina fin del mundo
